Malcolm C. Boston died at the Blair hospital Monday morning after an illness of about seven month duration. He was in an Omaha hospital for some time and later was brought here for there seemed to be no help for his condition. The funeral was held at the Methodist church at 2 o'clock yesterday afternoon, Rev. W. H. Underwood officiating, assisted by Rev. J. W. Johnson, the local pastor. Malcolm was born at Desoto October 28th1868 and had spent his entire life in this County. When he was a small boy his father took the homestead southwest of that he owned at the time of his death. He was married to Miss Annette Case July 12th 1904 and four children were born to them, one son died two years ago last March. Helen age 16, Donald, 8 and Francis, 6 with their mother survive him. Also a brother, A. A. Boston, of Grand Junction, IA., and a one sister, Mrs. Mike Thompson of this county. Mr. Boston was a member of Trapbois Camp Modern Woodmen of America and the burial service was under the auspices of this lodge. The bereaved family has sincere sympathy of many friends.

#2-26 May, 1921 - The Enterprise - Malcom C. Boston

Malcom C. Boston, a native of Washington county, died at the Blair hospital May 23, 1921.

Mr. Boston was born in DeSoto on Oct. 26, 1868, and later with his parents moved to the farm on which he lived at his death. His father died when he was but a boy, and he being one of the older children of the family, with his mother, shouldered the burden of gaining a livelihood for the family.

On July 12th, 1904 he was married to Miss Anita Case, and to them four children were born, three of whom are still living, Helen, 16 years of age; Donald, 8 years; and Francis, 6.

Besides the grief-stricken wife and children, he leaves a sister, Mrs. Mike Thompson of Blair and a brother A. A. Boston of Grand Junction, Iowa.

The funeral services were held on Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the Methodist church in this city with Rev. J. A. Johnson officiating. Interment was made in the Blair cemetery under the auspices of the Modern Woodmen lodge of which he was a member.

MALCOM BOSTON PASSES AWAY FUNERAL HELD ON TUESDAY

All that was mortal of Malcom Boston was laid away in the Blair cemetery last Tuesday afternoon, the funeral being held at the Methodist church at 2 o’clock, conducted by Rev. W. H. Underwood, assisted by Rev. J. A. Johnson. The M.W.A. conducting the services at the grave.

Malcolm Boston was born at DeSoto, Nebraska Oct. 26, 1868, and was married to Miss Annetta Case of Washington county July 12, 1904. Four children were born to them, one of whom, Harlan, aged 13, preceded his father in death two years ago. The surviving children are Helen, aged 16, Donald, 8 and Frances, 6. The wife and one brother, A. A. Boston of Grand Junction, Iowa, and a sister, Mrs. Mike Thompson of Blair, also survive.

The parents of Mr. Boston homesteaded land near Blair in the early days, and after their death, deceased purchased the place which has since been his home.

Several months ago Mr. Boston began to fail in health, and everything possible was done to restore him to his normal condition, but the efforts were of no avail. He spent some time in an Omaha hospital, and was later transferred to a similar institution in Council Bluffs, and finally he was brought back to Blair and placed in the local hospital where he passed away Monday morning.

The Tribune joins the many friends of the family in extending sympathy.
