Mrs. Charles Carmichael died at the Tekamah Hospital at 8 o’clock last Thursday morning following an operation for appendicitis on Sunday. She gave birth to a son on October 24th and the little fellow is living and getting along nicely.

The funeral was held at the Christian Church Saturday afternoon. Rev. W. F. B. Robb officiating. Hannah, the daughter of Augusta Kronberg, was born in this county November 12, 1894, and was therefore, almost 26 years of age at the time of her death. She married to Charles Carmichael, August 10th, 1915, and three children were born to them, George, aged four years, Harold, aged 2 ½ years and Orval, aged two weeks. Mrs. Cory Charleston, Charles’ sister, has taken George, Mrs. Frank Swift, another sister, has taken Harold and Avie has taken baby Orval. Besides the husband and children, she leaves her father, three sisters and two brothers. All the family but Elmer were here for the funeral. The death of a young mother is always a sad one and the bereaved husband and family have the sincere sympathy of their many friends.

#2-11 Nov., 1920 - The Enterprise - Hannah (Kronberg) Carmichael

Hannah Kronberg was born at Rose Hill in this county Nov. 12, 1894, and was therefore 25 years, 11 months and 21 days old when she passed from this life.

She was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Augustus Kronberg of this county. Her mother died when Hannah was but ten years of age.

She was married to Mr. Chas. Carmichael August 10, 1915, and to them was born three children, all boys, the youngest being born Oct. 24.

On October 31 she was taken to the Tekamah hospital where an operation for appendicitis was performed. She passed away November 4th at 8 a.m.

The funeral services were held at the Christian church of this city on last Saturday where a vast concourse of sorrowing friends gathered to show their sympathy and respect to the bereaved husband and other relatives and later followed the body to its last resting place in the Blair cemetery.

Besides her husband and the three little ones she leaves a father, three sisters and two brothers to mourn her loss.

Mrs. Cory Charlton and Mrs. Frank Swift, sisters of Mr. Carmichael, and Mr. Avie Carmichael, a brother of Mr. Carmichael have each taken one of the little ones into their homes, and will give them a place in their hearts.
