Randy Ben Moore was born on Nov. 11, 1953, to Edward and Lorraine Moore. He passed away peacefully in his home on Aug. 4, 2018, surrounded by his family.

Randy grew up in Blair, where he attended school from 1972 to1975. He served his country in the United States Army.

In 1981, Randy was united in marriage to his wife, Dawn. They had three children Jesse, Melynda and Levi.

Randy was a third generation bricklayer and worked for 40 years in the masonry industries throughout Nebraska and Iowa. Randy always had a passion for rodeo, he also enjoyed hunting and fishing, but most of all, he loved attending all of his grandkids sporting events.

Randy was proceeded in death by his father Edward Moore and his brother-in-law Jeff Forsen.

He is survived by his wife Dawn; sons, Jesse (Brandi) Moore and Levi (Nicole) Moore; and daughter, Melynda Kellogg (Jeff Schutte), all of Tekamah; 11 grandchildren Blake, Gabbi, Connor, Maddi, Skye, Kallie, Kash, Brody, Tuff, Linkoln and Krete; mother, Lorraine (Lesline) Moore; sister, LeAnne Forsen, and brother, Edward Moore, both of Herman; sister, Cathy (Gene) Barber of Magnolia, Iowa; step-brothers Rich (Pam) Vlcek of Blair and Lee (Dawn) Vlcek of Plattsmouth; in-laws, Jim and Beverly Devening of Tekamah; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Aug. 25, 2018, at 2 p.m. at the Tekamah City Auditorium. There will be a service, lunch and a lot of memories shared.
