Ludwig Dies in Arlington; Moved To Arlington 15 Years Ago; Lived in Omaha and Iowa

Henry Ludwig, 91, has died in Arlington. Funeral services were Oct. 17 for the retired Arlington farmer.

The Rev. Henry Kleinert officiated at services at the William Reckmeyer & Sons Chapel. Burial was at Neola, Ia.

Native of Germany, Mr. Ludwig lived in Omaha and Neola before coming to Arlington some 15 years ago.

Surviving are two sons, Henry Jr., of Arlington, and Herman of Isabel, S. D.; three daughters, Emma Kneller of Corning Ia., Anna Davis of Murdo S. D., Lena Copley of Gibbs, Ida., 23 grandchildren and 34 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife in 1925

HENRY LUDWIG, SR. DIED SUNDAY

Henry Ludwig, who for several years has made his home with his son in Arlington, died October 21 in the Lutheran Home in Fremont.

At his death he was over 91 years of age. His wife died September 11, 1925. For a long term of years he farmed near Neola, Iowa, but after the death of his wife, he gave up farming and finally went to Arlington to live with his son.

He leaves five children, Henry of Arlington; Herman of South Dakota; Mrs. Emma Kneler of Iowa; Mrs. Anna Davis of South Dakota; and Mrs. Lena Topley of Idaho.

Funeral services were held Wednesday at 1 o’clock from the Reckmeyer funeral Home in Arlington, and burial was made in Neola, Iowa.
