ONE-TIME BLAIR WOMAN DIED IN CALIFORNIA SUNDAY

News has reached Blair of the death of Mrs. Create Brewster, a former Blair resident, who died at Torrance, California. Death took place Sunday.

Mrs. Brewster was the widow of the late J. M. Brewster, who was a barber at Blair in the early 40's. They moved to California about 1945. Mrs. Brewster was 92 years old.

The late Ross Deets of Blair was a brother of Mrs. Brewster.

Local survivors are Mrs. Lynn Armstrong, who is a niece and Mrs. Mona Deets who is a sister-in-law. Mrs. Brewster had been living with her daughter, Mrs. Harley Rogert, who is also a former Blair woman who will be remembered by many.

Funeral services were held Wednesday, February 26, at Wee Kirk of the Heather with burial in Forest lawn cemetery in Los Angeles.
