J. R. French received word on Sunday that Gen Hotaling died Saturday at his home at Goltry, Okla., and that the funeral would be held on Tuesday, at 2:00 P.M. Deceased was born in the southwest corner of Calhoun Township, going to Oklahoma to live a few years ago. He was married to Miss Mattie Rosenbalm, who has a large number of relatives in this vicinity. J. R. French and Buck Rosenbalm went to attend the funeral and when they return I shall be able to obtain from them more particulars and report the same later.
