DIED-At Grainland, Butte county, Cal., Robert C. Brewster, aged 57 years. Mr. Brewster was born in Ohio, and when a small boy moved to Indiana, and from there to Dubuque county, Iowa, living there until 1857, when with his parents he moved to Washington county, Neb. In 1862 he enlisted in the 1st Colorado Battery and served 3 years and came out with a gunshot wound in the knee. He leaves two brothers, Al Brewster of Kennard and Thos. C. Brewster of Grainland, Colo., the latter place of which he was buried under the auspices of G.A.R. Of thirteen children, Mr. Almond and Thomas Brewster are the only surviving members.
