Funeral services were Wednesday, June 16, at Larkin Funeral Home in Omaha for Ethel M. Flores, 61, of Omaha, who died June 13, 1982, at Methodist Hospital where she had been hospitalized for about two months with heart trouble. Burial was in Sheridan Cemetery at Auburn, Nebraska.

She and her first husband, Delbert Curtis, had 15 children. She was also a foster mother for 28 others. She had, at one time, 22 children at home. In 1968, she suffered a heart attack and had to slow down.

Her first husband, Delbert Curtis, preceded her in death.

She is survived by her second husband, Augustin Flores.

Other survivors include 11 sons, Delbert Curtis and Teddy Curtis, both of Bennington; Dennis Curtis, Springfield, Nebraska; and Gary Curtis, Richard Curtis, Darrell Curtis, Kenneth Curtis, Charles Curtis, David Curtis, Ronald Curtis and Michael Curtis, all of Omaha; and three daughters, Darlene Pollock, Bennington; Glenda Rojas, Omaha; Geraldine Logan, Michigan. Forty one grandchildren and three great-grandchildren also survive her.
