Marjorie Ann Hartman

Marjorie A. (Marsden) Hartman, age 88, of Lincoln, NE passed away on Wednesday, March 7, 2018, in Lincoln. She was born January 3, 1930, in Polk County on a farm near Gresham, NE to James E. and Ruth A. Marsden. She married Harold E. Hartman on June 2, 1047 and to this union three daughters were born. She worked at Russell Stover’s and after that she volunteered at the VA hospital in Lincoln. She enjoyed traveling and her family. She was always ready to help anyone out. She enjoyed life to its fullest.

She was a member of VFW 131 Club and the American Legion. She joined Redeemer Lutheran Church on September 15, 2014.

Marge is survived by her daughters Alice Fournell and Ruth (Steve) Schultz; grandchildren Veronica Barnard of North Carolina, Jennifer Wininger and Ron Roe of Kentucky; Geoff Schultz, Tim Schultz, Ryan (Ellisha) Schultz; nine great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren; brother Lyle (Marcy) Marsden all of Lincoln, NE.

Marge is preceded in death by her parents; husband; daughter Barbara Ann Hartman; grandson Michael Wininger; brothers & sisters-in-law Lester & Ardythe Marsden, Joe & Rajean Marsden; sisters & brothers-in-law Irene & Malcom Avery, Maxine & John Mitchell.

Funeral services will be 10:00AM on Monday, March 12, at Redeemer Lutheran Church. Pastor Mark Ebert will officiate. Interment will follow at Ulysses Township Cemetery, Ulysses, NE. Visitation will be Sunday, from 12:00-9:00PM, at Lincoln Funeral Home, 6800 S. 14th Street, Lincoln. The family will greet friends from 4:00-6:00PM. Memorials are suggested to Redeemer Lutheran Church or Hospice Community Care of Nebraska

After the committal, a lunch will be served in the Fellowship Hall on the lower level of the building. Marge’s family invites you to join them for this time of fellowship.

Word of Caution: If you should cross 33rd street, please exercise caution concerning vehicular traffic.
