Former Blair Man Dead

. Relatives have received word of the death of Eugene Mead of Willows, California, recently.

The older settlers here will remember him as having lived with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Giles Mead and family on the farm at Tyson Station when but a boy. He later lived in Blair, leaving ten or twelve years ago.

Mr. Mead was born July 12, 1849 and leaves to mourn his death a widow and four children, three sons and daughter. Of a family of eight children, four brothers and sisters remain; they are Frank Mead, Canada, Thomas Mead, So. Dak., Mrs. C. B. Bunn, Blair and Mrs. Eli Souder, Canada.

Mr. Mead had been suffering for several years with a complication of diseases, the immediate cause of his death being a ruptured blood vessel.
