Rites For Blanche Hill Were Held

Services for Miss Blanche Hill, a long-time resident of Blair, were held Saturday, June 17th, at the Congregational Church in Blair.

Miss Hill passed away the preceding Thursday morning, following a lingering illness at the Crowell Memorial Home.

Miss Hill, daughter of Henry and Elizabeth Hill, was born June 19, 1879 at Blair, Nebraska. She was 82 years of age at the time of her death.

Miss Hill was trained as a milliner and worked for many years in a store in Idaho. She returned to Blair about 1925 and had made her home in Blair since that time.

She traveled extensively in the United States and in Europe. Miss Hill was a member of the P.E.O. and the Congregational Church in Blair.

Miss Hill’s parents assisted in the organization of the Congregational Church in Blair and the entire Hill family was very active in its endeavors ever since.

She is survived by a cousin, F.E. Wentworth, of Longpine, Nebraska.
