On last Thursday morning, Nov. 4, Mrs. Henry Ruwe died at her home near Telbasta following an operation for cancer several months ago at Cherokee, Iowa.

She had been considerably better after the operation but became suddenly worse three weeks ago and did not rally.

The deceased was a pioneer resident here, coming with her husband, whose death occurred several years ago, to Washington County in an early day.

She leaves three daughters and four sons. They are Mrs. John Oberst, Mrs. Paul Kubie, Mrs. Fred Barsell, Ferdinand, William, Otto, and Lawrence.

Funeral services were held at the Bell Creek Church, Thursday, Nov., 6th and interment made in the cemetery at that place.
