Grace V. Brosseth, 92, of Blair, died July 14, 2001, at Good Shepherd Lutheran Home in Blair.

Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday, July 19, at Farmington Lutheran Church in Farmington, Minn. Interment will be at the Corinthian Cemetery.

Grace Viola Brottseth was born March 4, 1909, on a homestead near Phillip, S.D., to Orin Edwin and Mabel Viola (Edwards) Walker. She moved many times during her childhood, living in South Dakota, Nebraska, Iowa and Minnesota.

On Sept. 24, 1935, she married Elmer Albert Brosseth in Minneapolis, Minn., and the couple began making their home in Farmington.

She was a member of Myrtle Chapter No. 13 of Eastern Star and Farmington Lutheran Church where she participated in Circle and Altar Guild.

She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Carol and Rod Sheffer of Deerwood, Minn., daughter, Ruth McKay of Blair, son Allen of Albuquerque, N.M., three grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Elmer, sisters, Esther and Maxine, and brothers, Howard and Homer.

Memorials are suggested to Farmington Lutheran Church, Eastern Star, or Good Shepherd Lutheran Home.

White Funeral Home of Farmington, Minn., is in charge of arrangements.
