Oct. 15, 1940 – June 23, 2018

Walden 'Wally' J. Stigge, age 77, of Ashland, formerly of Wahoo, passed away Saturday, June 23, 2018, at Ashland Care Center.

Wally was born Oct. 15, 1940, in Dodge to Gustov and Philomena (Glodowski) Stigge. He grew up at Dodge, Telbasta, Hooper and Fremont before settling in Wahoo for over 20 years. He was a machinist by trade.

Survived by his sons, Scott, Jason, Travis and Richard Stigge; brothers, Pat Stigge, Omaha, and Rodney (Kay) Stigge, Millard; sister, Jeannine Klitz, Blair; and a host of nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by his parents; brother, Gustov Stigge Jr.; sisters, Dorothy Vitek and Marilyn Pospishil; and infant siblings, Kenneth and Patricia.

The memorial service is 1:30 p.m. Saturday, June 30, at Moser Memorial Chapel in Fremont. Memorial visitation is one hour prior to the service at Moser's. Interment at St. Wenceslaus Catholic Cemetery at Dodge.
