Mr. “John John” Thompson also known as Yo-hon, age 46, a resident of Lockesburg, Arkansas died Sunday, September 16, 2018, in Midland, Texas,

He was born December 9, 1971, in De Queen, Arkansas. He was a superintendent at Guardian Energy Services and a member of the Old Union Missionary Baptist Church in Lockesburg. John John enjoyed hunting, golf, poker, and playing in the mud. He also enjoyed the Nebraska Huskers, Green Bay Packers, Arkansas Razorbacks “Razerbaks”, especially calling the Hogs. He loved his kids, nieces and nephews.

John John was preceded in death by his father, John "Conoco" Thompson and his grandparents, Leo and Mary Winer and Jack and Betty Thompson.

He is survived by two daughters, Katie and Ashlie Thompson of Blair, Nebraska; his mother, Susie Winer Thompson of Lockesburg; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Jack and Janna Thompson of Big Spring, Texas and Jimmy and Vanessa Thompson of Lockesburg; one sister and brother-in-law, Susie and Brent Carver of Lockesburg ; his nieces and nephews, K’Leeh Holt and husband Joey, Cameron and Mason Kyle, Bryce and Jesse Keaton, Linnea and Izabelle Thompson, Marlee, John, Emily, and William James Carver; and a number of aunts, uncles, other relatives, and friends.

Funeral services for John John will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, September 21, 2018, in the Old Union Missionary Baptist Church with his uncle Danny White, Bro. Donny Davis, and Bro. Tate Keith officiating. Burial will follow in Old Union Cemetery under the direction of Wilkerson Funeral Home in De Queen.

The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 p.m., Thursday the 20th at the funeral home. Please come as you feel comfortable or wear camo, red, Razorback or Husker colors. .

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date in Blair by family.
