Martha Margaret Voss, 101, of Blair, passed away Oct. 6, 2018, at Good Shepherd's Village Assisted Living in Blair. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Oct. 10, 2018, at Emmaus Lutheran Church in Kennard at 10:30 a.m. A luncheon will follow service. Graveside services will be held in the Blair Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday, Oct. 9, beginning at noon with family receiving friends that evening from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Campbell Aman Funeral Home in Blair.

Martha was born on Jan. 30, 1917, in rural Kennard, the daughter of Chris and Helene (Vogt) Jahnel. She was baptized and confirmed at Emmaus Lutheran Church. Martha attended grade school at Maney School and later graduated from Kennard High School in 1936. On Oct. 1, 1938, she was united in marriage to Martin Voss in Bennington at the St. John's Lutheran Church Parsonage. Martha and Martin worked side by side, for many years, working together farming, raising hogs, cattle and chickens. She loved flowers, growing many at her home over the years. Martha was a lifelong member of Emmaus Lutheran Church in Kennard.

She is survived by her sisters-in-law, Lois Skow and Naomi Marconett; along with many nieces; nephews; family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Martin; her brother, Kenneth Jahnel and her sister, Marie Suverkrubbe.

Memorials may be directed to Emmaus Lutheran Church in Kennard, Shepherds Village Assisted Living in Blair or the Blair Volunteer Rescue Squad.
