Walter Robert Caldwell was born at Blair, Nebraska, July 29, 1908, and passed away at Omaha, Nebraska Sunday afternoon, June 28, 1931.

Walter grew to manhood in this vicinity. He was united in marriage to Miss Edna Johnsen of Bennington, Nebraska at Harlan, Iowa, July 2, 1930. He spent practically all his life in this community.

He is survived by his wife, Edna; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Caldwell of Sundance, Wyoming; six brothers, Chester and Clyde of Sundance; Charles of Lisco, Neb; Earl, Kenneth and Edward of Blair, and Mrs. Glen Ray of Arlington, besides his many other relatives and friends.

Those of his immediate family who preceded him in death are one sister, Mrs. Abbie Singleton and two brothers, Jesse and Freddie, all of whom departed this life many years ago.

Funeral services were conducted at the First Methodist church by the pastor, W. Byron Pardun, Tuesday p.m. June 30th, and interment was made in the Blair cemetery.
