Services for Connie L. Foley Held Monday

Funeral services for Mrs. Connie L. Foley, 50, of rural Blair, were held at 10 a.m. Monday, April 8, at St. Francis Borgia Catholic Church in Blair. Father Daniel Galas and Father Paul Schneider officiated, with organist Clare Cowing and Mary Lou Beckman and vocalists Dave Carlsen and Chuck Jorgensen providing hymns. Burial followed at the Holy Cross Cemetery in Blair. Rosary was said at 7 p.m. Sunday.

Connie was born July 17, 1934, to Orva and Ruby (Robson) French in Wessington Springs, South Dakota. She married James R. Foley August 6, 1955, in Omaha. James survives with sons and daughters-in-law Michael and Kristin Foley of Gresham, William and Jane Foley of Omaha, son James Foley of Omaha, daughters Mrs. Wayne (Mary) Johnson of Gutherie Center, Iowa, and Linda Foley of Blair, one grandchild, brothers Robert French of Cole Camp, Missouri, and William French of Boise, Idaho, sisters Mrs. Juna Hurley of Wessington Springs, Alice Galvin of Omaha, Mrs. Marvin (Helen) Lofing of Dill and Carol French of Bloomington, Minnesota. Connie was preceded in death by sister Maxine Lyle.

Mrs. Foley died at the University Hospital in Omaha Thursday, April 4. Pallbearers were Larry Bock, Denny Clanton, Bill O’Hanlon, Bob Blobaum, Don Jahn and John Young.
