Leavitt, Jamie E. Age 66 Fort Calhoun, NE. Born on November 22, 1951 in Shreveport, LA. Died on November 2, 2018 in Lincoln, NE. Preceded in death by his parents; and nephew. Survived by his wife, Rose of Fort Calhoun; children: Jay (Cheryl) Leavitt of Omaha, Rebecca Katschke of Bothell WA, Therese (T.J.) Finan of Shawnee KS, and David (Jennifer) Morford of Marietta, GA; sisters, Jeanne Williams of Grand Island NE, and Cinnamon Glick of Las Vegas, NV; grandchildren, Skye, Alaina, and Waylen Leavitt, and McKinley and Cecelia Finan; nieces and nephews. VISITATION: from 6-8pm Tuesday, November 6, at Sievers-Sprick Funeral Home. MEMORIAL SERVICE: 2pm Wednesday, November 7, at Schwertley Hall, 215 N. 13th Street, Fort Calhoun, NE 68023. Jamie E. Leavitt, 66, of Fort Calhoun, died November 2, 2018, in Lincoln. He was born on November 22, 1951, in Shreveport, La.

Jamie was preceded in death by his parents and nephew.

He is survived by his wife, Rose of Fort Calhoun; children, Jay (Cheryl) Leavitt of Omaha, Rebecca Katschke of Bothell, Wash., Therese (T.J.) Finan of Shawnee, Kan., David (Jennifer) Morford of Marietta, Ga.; sisters, Jeanne Williams of Grand Island and Cinnamon Glick of Las Vegas, Nev.; grandchildren, Skye, Alaina, and Waylen Leavitt, and McKinley and Cecelia Finan; nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., Tuesday, Nov. 6, 2018, at Sievers-Sprick Funeral Home, in Fort Calhoun.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 7, 2018, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church's Schwertley Hall, 215 North 13th Street, Fort Calhoun.

There will be a private inurnment.

In lieu of traditional remembrances, memorials suggested to: Fort Calhoun Fire and Rescue or Fontenelle Forest Nature Center, 1111 Bellevue Blvd North, Bellevue, NE 68005.
