Mrs. Jennie Bell Brown passed away Saturday, January 18th, at the Blair Community Memorial Hospital at the age of 85 years.

She was born in Indianapolis, Indiana on January 15, 1879 to Mr. and Mrs. James W. Jacobs. On Nov. 28, 1899 she was married to George Antill and made their home in Omaha until 1903, when they moved to Blair. They were the parents of four daughters: Mrs. John Gassen (Mildred) of Idylwild, California, Mrs. Leonard Munk (Helen) and Mrs. Otto Matzen (Georgia), both of Blair. A daughter, Mrs. Milo Schock (Arlene) died in August, 1963. Mr. Antill died in 1921.

Survivors besides the three daughters are eight grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren. Also three brothers, Lester Jacobs of San Diego, Calif., Ray Jacobs of Mesa, Arizona, Roy Jacobs of Blair, and a sister, Mrs. Ed Busse of Downey, California.

Mrs. Antill owned and operated the Antill Grocery in Blair for several years. On May, 1925, she married Frank Brown. He passed away in 1932.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, January 21st, at 2 p.m. at the First Methodist Church. The Rev. Dale Westadt will officiate. The Campbell Mortuary is in charge of arrangements and burial will be in the Blair Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be: Carroll Thornburgh, Walter W. Petersen, Ray Schuldt, Richard Johnson, Floyd King and Gene Olson.
