The Crowell Home family were saddened Monday about noon, when news spread that the angel of death had again entered our Home, this time claiming Mrs. Geo. Chace. Mr. and Mrs. Geo. Chace became members of our family last October. Omaha had been their home for many years. We soon learned their worth as they fit into all the arrangements of the Home. Not at any time has the health of Mrs. Chace been good, and yesterday, August 22, she left us and went Home to her crowning. In his deep sorrow, her husband has our love and prayers. Obituary next week.

CROWELL HOME

The funeral of Mrs. Geo. Chace, whose death was mentioned in last week’s paper was held from the Crowell Home last Wednesday afternoon. Rev. Carl G. Bader was in charge, with Rev. B.L. Story, pastor of the Grace M.E. church at Omaha assisting. The music, which was beautifully rendered, was given by Mr. and Mrs. Tom Blanchard. Mrs. Chace was laid to rest in the Blair cemetery. Those in attendance at the funeral were the two daughters, Mrs. Geo. Baker and four children of Omaha, and two sons of Lindsay, Neb. Dean Ringer and Mrs. T.A. Rominger, of Omaha, friends of the Chaces, were also in attendance. Friends from Blair were Mesdames Hugh Wright, Harry Sappenfield and Oscar Guyer. After the services, Mr. Chace accompanied his daughter, Mrs. Tobkins, to her home where he will visit indefinitely.
