Suzanne Byers, age 62 of Kennard, passed away Nov. 10, 2018, at Josie Harper Hospice House in Omaha. Suzanne selflessly donated her body to Nebraska Medicine. Memorial services will be held Saturday, Nov. 17, at 10:30 a.m. at Grace Methodist Church in Kennard. Visitation will be held Friday, Nov. 16, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at Campbell Aman Funeral Home in Blair.

Suzanne was born to William and Alice (Misfeldt) Byers in Blair. Suzanne attended school in Kennard and Arlington, graduating in 1974. She was a member of Grace United Methodist Church in Kennard. She loved farm life and helped her dad on the farm until she started working for Utility Trenching late in 2000, where she met many friends. Suzanne loved working in her garden in her spare time.

Suzanne is survived by her mother, Alice Byers; brother, Michael (Diane) Byers; nieces, nephews and family, Heather (Criag) Campbell, Angela (Daniel) Hilgendorf, Amber Byers, Crystal (Eric) Sauser, Megan (Cory) Byers, Tracey (Donavan) Roach, Brad (Christie) Carson; uncles, Allan (Ellen) Byers, Red (Anita) Misfeldt; aunts, Genene Quick, Mary (John) Jessen; many cousins and good friends, Rick (Corrie) Joons and family.

Suzanne was preceded in death by her father, William Byers; sister, Teresa Byers; sister-in-law, Patricia Byers; grandparents, Charles and Helena Misfeldt and Frank and Irene Byers.

Memorials may be sent to Josie Harper Hospice House or the Kennard Rescue Squad.
