Kult, William Robert "Bill" Jun 21, 1932 - Nov 16, 2018 age 86 of Blair, passed away at Nebraska Medicine in Omaha. Survived by: wife of 65 years Kay; children: Linda (Steve) Ryan of Blair, Michael Kult of Omaha, Patrick Kult (Fiancée Theresa Botos), Krista (Ken) Johnson of Diamondhead, MS, Sandy (Bart) Moore of Blair, Paul (Denise) Kult of Blair, and Gary (Diana) Kult of Waterloo; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; sister-in-law Elaine Kult; and many nieces and nephews. MASS of CHRISTIAN BURIAL will be held Monday, November 19 at 10:30am at St. Francis Borgia Catholic Church in Blair.VISITATION will be held 1 hour prior to Services. William Robert Kult, age 86 of Blair, passed away Nov. 16, 2018, at Nebraska Medicine in Omaha. Mass of Christian Burial was held Monday, Nov. 19 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Francis Borgia Catholic Church in Blair. Visitation was held one hour prior to services. Burial was held in Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery in Blair following services.

William was born on June 21, 1932, in Carroll, Iowa, the son of William and Gladys Kult. He was raised on a farm in rural Coon Rapids, Iowa, and graduated from Coon Rapids High School. He began working after high school until 1953 when he was drafted into the United States Army, where he served in the military police. On Jan. 14, 1953, he was united in marriage to Kay Truax in Carroll, Iowa. To this union seven children were born. Most of Bill's career was spent as a transport driver for Metz Baking Company. He retired in 1995 and spent the next 20 years enjoying his time with Kay at their lake house in the Ozarks. In 2015, Bill and Kay moved to Blair to be closer to family.

Bill is survived by his wife of 65 years, Kay; children, Linda (Steve) Ryan of Blair, Michael Kult of Omaha, Patrick Kult (fiancee Theresa Botos), Krista (Ken) Johnson of Diamondhead, Miss., Sandy (Bart) Moore of Blair, Paul (Denise) Kult of Blair, and Gary (Diana) Kult of Waterloo; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; sister-in-law, Elaine Kult; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, grandson, Kelly Kult, brothers, Bernard and Gerald Kult, mother-in-law, Hope Covault, fathers-in-law, Haden Truax and Joe Covault.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Blair Rescue Squad, Tangiers Shriners or a charity of the donor's choice in Bill's name.
