Alan D. Follen, 73, of Blair, died Friday, Oct. 17, 2008, in Fremont.

Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 23, at Campbell-Aman Funeral Home. Interment will be in the Blair Cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 22, at the funeral home.

Alan Was born Dec. 11, 1934, in Herman to Emil and Gladys (Frain) Follen. He attended school in Blair. He was an avid sports fan, especially enjoying the game of baseball.

He is survived by a brother, Lyle, of Fremont; nieces, nephews, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
