Gloria Elaine (Jessen) Kuhr, 89, of Lakewood, Colo., passed away peacefully on Nov. 14, 2018.

Gloria was born in Arlington on March 5, 1929, to Jens Joseph Jessen and Edith Marie (Wein) Jessen. She graduated from Blair High School and married Leon Kuhr on Sept. 15, 1948.

She was a loving and beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, as well as a dear friend to many.

Gloria was preceded in death by her parents; her brother, John Jessen Sr.; her sister, Dorothy Hansen Kuhl; and her husband, Lee (he passed in June of this year).

Gloria is survived by her sister, Ruth Thompson of Blair; many nieces and nephews; and her children, Becky Lovelett of Cheyenne, Wyo., Sandy Walton of Eaton, Colo., Jim Kuhr of Littleton, Colo.; grandchildren, Greg Lovelett, Matt DiVincentis, Amy Duerr, Emily Kuhr, and Hannah Griffith; and three great-grandchildren, Cooper Lovelett, Haisley Duerr and Lily DiVincentis.

Gloria was a joy to be around, a wonderful cook and had an endearing sense of humor. She will be truly missed by all who knew her.
