David A. Launer, 65, of Omaha passed away suddenly on Nov. 2, 2018.

He was the son of Carl and Mary Helen (Loftis) Launer.

He is survived by his daughter, Megan Launer of California, and his son, Thomas Launer of Connecticut; father, Carl Launer; sisters, Peggy Launer, Cathy Friesz and Carla Launer, all of Omaha. He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary, and his brother, Richard Launer.

Graveside services were held Nov. 9, 2018, at Westlawn-Hillcrest Memorial Park in Omaha and a celebration of David's life was held later that morning at Trinity Lutheran Church in Blair. All memorials are to be sent to Trinity Lutheran in Blair.
