Memorial services were Sunday, May 29 at Roeder Mortuary in Omaha for Shirley A. Brown, 63 of Omaha who died May 26, 1994 at Immanuel Medical Center in Omaha.

Shirley A. Brown was born March 30, 1931 in Waterloo, Iowa to Ruth Orrell Bennett and Phineas Thomas Bennett. She graduated from East High School and attended Iowa State Teachers College.

She married Kenneth E. Brown June 6, 1953 in Waterloo.

They lived in Cedar Falls, Iowa, Wynona, Minnesota, Blair, Ames, Iowa, Sioux City, Iowa, and Bettendorf, Iowa before moving to Omaha.

She was a member of Asbury United Methodist Church in Bettendorf.

She is survived by her husband, Kenneth E. Brown of Omaha; three daughters, Linda Louis Dutton of Omaha; Suzan Kay Gail of Booneville, Iowa and Nancy Brown Foster of LaPine, Oregon; six grandchildren, a brother, Charles Bennett of Florida and two sisters, Jean Donahue of Waterloo and Barbara Clark of Tempe, Arizona.
