J.H. HILGENKAMP RITES WEDNESDAY

“LOUIE” HILGENKAMP, 67, DIED SUNDAY AT FARM NEAR ARLINGTON

J.H. “Louie” Hilgenkamp, well-known farmer in the vicinity northeast of Arlington, a resident of Washington county all his life, died at his farm home late Sunday afternoon. He was 67 years old.

Funeral services were held yesterday at 1:30 p.m. at the residence, and at 2 p.m. at St. Paul’s Lutheran church, the Rev. G.W. Wolter officiating. Interment was at Arlington.

Mr. Hilgenkamp, son of the late Arlington pioneer couple, Mr. and Mrs. Peter Hilgenkamp, was born near Arlington January 12, 1873. He was married March 3, 1897, to Miss Louise Echtenkamp.

Surviving Mr. Hilgenkamp are his wife, Louise; five daughters, Mrs. Albert Stork, Mrs. Arthur Plugge and Mrs. Obert Hagerbaumer, all of Arlington; Mrs. Fred Hagerbaumer and Mrs. Harry Hagerbaumer of Hooper.
