Walt Hilgenkamp, age 95, died at the Skilled Care Center at the Dodge County Hospital where he had been living for the past nine years.

Funeral services for Walter Hilgenkamp will be on Wednesday, December 2nd, at 10:30 a.m. in the Trinity Lutheran Church in Fremont. The minister will be Craig Schultz with burial in the Memorial Cemetery in Fremont. Visitation and arrangements are being handled by the Ludvigsen Funeral Home in Fremont.

Mr. Hilgenkamp was born on April 25th, 1892 in Arlington. He was married on Febr. 7, 1917 to Laura Laaker who preceded him in death on July 14th, 1958. The couple farmed in the Arlington area until he retired.

Mr. Hilgenkamp was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church in Fremont and was formerly a long time member of the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Hooper.

Mr. Hilgenkamp is survived by two daughters. They are: Mrs. LaVerne (Doris) Busch of Arlington and Mrs. Lloyd (Lorraine) Salyers of Fremont; six grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
