Regina A. "Jean" Brummer, 86, of Blair died Saturday, March 10 at Crowell Memorial Home in Blair.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10 a.m. Tuesday, March 13, 2001, at St. Francis Borgia Catholic Church in Blair. Father Al Salanitro will officiate. The Rosary was said at 7 p.m. Monday at Campbell-Aman Funeral Home. Interment will be in Holy Cross Cemetery in Blair.

Regina A. Brummer was born Oct. 6, 1914 in Dunlap, Iowa to Aloysius and Elizabeth (Honz) Stolz. She grew up and attended school in Dunlap.

On Feb. 7, 1933, she married Leonard Brummer in Dunlap. The couple moved to Kennard in 1947, where they owned and operated the New Deal Bar until retiring in 1970. At that time, they moved to Blair, where Mrs. Brummer resided until the time of her death. She was a member of St. Francis Borgia Catholic Church in Blair.

She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Charlotte and Pat Gottsch of Elkhorn, two sons and daughters-in-aw, Richard and Rhea Brummer of Omaha and Dennis and Vickie Brummer of Blair, 12 grandchildren, and 15 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard, and a son, Donald, grandson, Blake Gottsch, sister, Aloysia Cook, and son-in-law, Mervyn Gottsch.

Campbell-Aman Funeral Home in Blair is in charge of arrangements.
