| Mr. Arthur W. Andersen died December 18th at the Blair Community Hospital where he had been confined for over two weeks.
He was born February 28, 1898 at Kennard. The late Mr. and Mrs. Anders Andersen were his parents. In infancy he was baptized in the Chrsitian faith as a Lutheran.
He was married to Mae Petersen on April 24, 1929 and they lived on a farm near Herman.
Besides his wife he is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Donald Rasmussen (Ardith) of Blair and Carol Jean Andersen, a junior at Wayne State College. There are three grandchildren and one great grandchild.
Funeral services were at the First Lutheran Church at Blair on December 21st. Rev. Robert Albers of Blair and Rev. Zack Kleinsasser of Herman officiated. Interment was in the Blair Cemetery with Bendorf Funeral Home in charge.
Pallbearers were Freeman Loftis, LaVerne Mintken, Harlan Kroeger, Elmer Andersen, Richard Petersen and Lester Curley. |
