Arthur B. Anderson, 57, Dead-Former Herman Man-Services Were Held Monday, October 14, in Herman

Arthur Bailey Anderson, 57 years old former Herman farmer, passed away at the Immanuel hospital in Omaha last Friday, October 11. Services were held Monday afternoon at the Baptist Church of Herman with Rev. T. J. Reese of Jefferson, Iowa, in charge, and burial was made in Forest Lawn Cemetery of Omaha.

Born August 6, 1883 in Johnson County, Iowa, Mr. Anderson spent his childhood on a farm near Cedar Rapids, Iowa. He was married to Barbara Cheval in 1905, and they spent most of their married life in Washington County, farming near Herman for many years. Mr. Anderson was a member of Landmark Lodge No. 22 A. F. & A. M. During the last year he had resided in California, but he and Mrs. Anderson were visiting here at the time of his death.

He is survived by the widow; four children, Arthur and Mrs. Joe Mathson of Los Angeles, California, Harry, of Fort Knox, Kentucky, and Gordon of Herman; two sisters, Mrs. Laura Delaney and Mrs. Myrtle Fratt of Los Angeles; and a brother, Harry Anderson of Omaha.
