Geneva Ford

Geneva May Ford, 61, of Blair died on Monday evening, June 15, 1987, at the Memorial Community Hospital in Blair after a lengthy illness.

She was born on July 7, 1925, at Detroit, Michigan to Francis and Lula May (Meyers) McLaughlin.

She was married to Walter (Bud) Ford on August 4, 1972, at Elk Point, South Dakota.

Ford had resided in Blair since 1970.

Survivors include her husband, Walter (Bud) Ford of Blair; one son Roger Hotelin of Shiloh, Ohio, and one daughter, Sharon Meyer of Fostoria, Ohio; three step-sons: Lonnie Ford of Pender, Lawrence Ford of North Bend, and Leander Ford of K. I. Sawyer A.F.B. in Michigan; one step-daughter, Linda Divis of Colon; two brothers: Harold McLaughlin of Fostoria, Ohio, and Dan McLaughlin of Tiffin, Ohio; eleven grandchildren and nine step-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, June 18, 1987, at the R.L.D.S. Church in Decatur with Elder Ed Rieger officiating.

Interment was in the Hillcrest Cemetery at Decatur.

Arrangements are being handled by the Hamel & Peck Funeral Home in Tekamah.
