CLARENCE BRUNDAGE, SR. DIED AT BLAIR HOSPITAL SATURDAY

Clarence R. Brundage, Sr., long-time resident and former Blair auctioneer, died at Memorial Community Hospital in Blair last Saturday, October 14th. Mr. Brundage had been in failing health for a number of months.

He was 79 years of age, having been born at Council Bluffs, Iowa November 22, 1892.

For a number of years he was engaged in the sale barn business and did auctioneering. He featured livestock sales as a younger man but handled all types of auction sales. He retired from active business some years ago and has been living with his son on an acreage at the north edge of Blair adjoining Highway 73. His wife, who preceded him in death, died a number of years ago.

He is survived by two sons and a daughter. The sons are Clarence Brundage, Jr. of Blair and Dwane Brundage, also of Blair. The daughter is Mrs. Raymond (Thelma) Glasser, of Omaha. There are five grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at the Campbell Mortuary Tuesday afternoon, October 17th. The Rev. George Henriksen conducted the service.

Pallbearers were Bert Spanton, Don Moore, Leo Ford, Norman Rogers, Rudy Fick and Herman Kuhl.

Burial was made in the Herman Cemetery.
