HENRY BRUNTON RITES HELD AT BANCROFT, NEBR.

Henry Carroll Brunton, son of John Wesley and Vioa E. Brunton, was born in Herman , Nebraska, December 27, 1891 and passed away January 11, 1963 at Bancroft, Nebraska.

He grew to manhood in the Herman community and attended the Herman school.

He was married to Mary A. Sammer at Woodward, Oklahoma June 29, 1922, and to this union one child, Ronald, was born.

They moved to the Bancroft community in 1942, where they farmed a number of years. In 1954 they moved to Bancroft where they have resided ever since.

Mr. Brunton became affiliated with the Masonic Lodge in 1948 and was master of the Bancroft Lodge in 1962. He was also a member of the Eastern Star.

He joined the Baptist Church in Herman, Nebraska in childhood and after moving to Bancroft was in regular attendance of the Presbyterian Church.

He leaves to mourn his passing, his wife, Mary, his son Ronald, one brother, Stanley Brunton of Herman; five sisters: Mrs. Oscar Bring (?) Muriel, of Lyons; Miss Sylvia Brunton of Herman; Mrs. Lois Sabalka of Blair; Mrs. Edith McMahon of Lincoln and Miss Mildred Brunton of Barston, California.

Services were from the Presbyterian Church in Bancroft, January 14, 1963, with Rev. T Harry Liang officiating. Interment was in the Bancroft Cemetery. Pallbearers were Elton Bray, Ted Heise, Gerald Havekost, Frank Wood, Xavier Bonneau and Carl Anderson. McConnaha-Kempf were in charge of arrangements.
