Former Washington County resident Gerald F. Forsberg, 76, of Mesa, Ariz., died Nov. 24, 2000, in Mesa.

Gerald Forsberg was born May 22, 1924, to Francis and Ruth Forsberg of rural Blair.

On July 28, 1946, he married Drusilla Schroeder. The couple had two daughters, Jane and Betty.

Mr. Forsberg is survived by his wife, Drusilla; daughter Jane of Mesa; two grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren; his brother, John, of Apache Junction, Ariz., sister, LaVerne Lieberknecht of Garden City, Mich., three nieces and a nephew. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Betty.
