#1-MRS. A. THOMPSON DIED TUESDAY

Mrs. Antone Thompson passed away Tuesday morning. The attributing cause is reported to be old age. She was past seventy five years of age at her death.

Deceased was born in Clinton county, Iowa in 1868, and came to Blair with her parents in 1871 when Blair was but a hamlet. Since then, for 72 years, this city has been her home.

On April 6, 1899 she was married to Antone Thompson who survives her as do also three daughters, Mrs. Ollie Marshall, Mrs. Ernest Romberg and Mrs. Rollin Robinson of Omaha, and two sons, Albert of Omaha and Art of Fremont.

Rosary was recited at the Bendorf Funeral Home at eight o’clock this Thursday evening, and at 9:30 a.m. Friday, and at 10 am. Friday from the Catholic Church. Interment will be made in the Blair cemetery.

Note: Census records have the children recorded as Kattie, Frank, Anton, Ruby, Lula, and Albert. The Washington County marriage records have Anna’s maiden name, Paulsen.
