Services for Gerald Hodson, 81, who died at Memorial Community Hospital March 10, 1994 after suffering an apparent heart attack at his home were held Monday, March 14, at First Lutheran in Blair. Burial was in the Calhoun Cemetery, north of Missouri Valley, Iowa.

Gerald Stanley Hodson was born September 5, 1913, at Missouri Valley, Iowa, to Ralph and Caroline Jerson Hodson. He attended school in Missouri Valley.

He married Wanda Hosman November 20, 1959 in Omaha, Nebraska. They moved to Blair in 1961 from Modale, Iowa. He worked for the Dept. of Roads in Iowa prior to his employment with Dana College.

Surviving him are his wife, Wanda; two sons and daughters-in-law, Mike and Teri Hodson of Herman and Mark and Dorene Hodson of Blair and five grandchildren, Ashley Hodson, Garrett Hodson, Jeremy Hodson, Adam Hodson and Cole Hodson.

Campbell-Aman Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
