Omaha World Herald 8 Feb 2019 (Photo) Fraser, Loren O. Age 90 Loren O. Fraser, of Omaha and a former Columbus, NE resident, died on Monday, February 4, 2019 at Esprit Whispering Ridge Center in Omaha. He was preceded by his wife, Evelyn Fraser, on June 21, 2018; his parents, Walter and Myra (Richison) Fraser; a brother, Neil; and a sister, Shirley Doss. Surviving him are his children: Mary (Ray) Meints of Omaha; Jeff (Anna) Fraser of Lincoln; Rod (Terri) Fraser of Olathe, KS; Bryan (Julie) Fraser of Elkhorn; and Jennifer (Kip) Meyer of Blair; eight grandchildren, four step-grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. He served as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist at Columbus Community Hospital for 29 years. FUNERAL SERVICE: 10am Saturday, February 9, 2019, at Elkhorn Hills United Methodist Church in Elkhorn with Rev. Rebecca Hjelle officiating. BURIAL: 11am, Monday, February 11, 2019 at the Columbus Cemetery in Columbus, NE, with full military honors by Hartman Post 84 of Columbus. VISITATION: Friday, February 8, 2019, 3-8pm, with the family present from 6-8pm, at the Reichmuth Funeral Home in Elkhorn. Memorials can be made to either the Elkhorn Hills United Methodist Church, First United Methodist Church in Columbus or to Youth Emergency Services and left or mailed to the funeral home.
