Nickerson Man Dies Last Week

Funeral services were Saturday, March 27, at Bader-Rozanek Colonial Funeral Home, Fremont, for Robert F. Forsberg, 61, who died March 24, 1982.

Rev. Dr. Hal Smith conducted the services. Military graveside services were held prior to his burial in Elim Lutheran Cemetery at Swaburg.

Robert F. Forsberg was born March 24, 1921, in Craig. He married Arlys M. Forsberg on April 10, 1947.

He lived in Uehling until 1971, when he moved to Nickerson. He was a retired construction worker and trucker and had been in failing health for seven years.

He was a member of First United Methodist Church of Nickerson, David Allen Hargins Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 7419 in Nickerson and the American Legion Post in Uehling. He was a United States Army veteran of World War II.

He is survived by his wife, Arlys, one son, Donald R. Forsberg of Nickerson; and a daughter, Jane K. Forsberg of Fremont. Three brothers, L. Ernest Forsberg of Fremont; Leonard J. Forsberg of Valley; and Eddie D. Forsberg of Omaha; three sisters, Mrs. Erwin (Ruth) Meyer and Mrs. Harold (Irene) Voskamp, both of Fremont; and Mrs. Max (Lila) West, Nickerson; and two grandchildren also survive him.
