Ruth Price Epperson Ruth Price Epperson, daughter of Mrs. Ella Price, died of a heart attack on Friday, July 4th. The family had been residing on the Price farm, east of town, since the mother, Mrs. Price, was stricken with a paralytic stroke some month ago and it was there she died.

She was born June 17, 1901 in Blair and grew to womanhood and received her early education in Blair. She was married July 1919 to William Epperson and to them six children were born. Two sons are in the Navy, Ben Price, 20 years of age, is stationed at Shanghai, China and Cecil 17, is a sailor aboard U. S. S. Concord somewhere in the Pacific Ocean. The others are Phyllis, Daryl, Rozella and Bryce, all at home.

After the marriage Mr. and Mrs. Epperson lived in Grand Island, Omaha and Denver, coming back to Blair on account of her mother’s illness.

Funeral services were held Monday afternoon at 2 o’clock from the Campbell Mortuary with Rev. R. W. Hastings of the Congregation Church officiating and interment was made in the Blair Cemetery.
