Jerry Jordan Dies at Age of 80 Years

Services for 80 year old Jerry H. Jordan will be held on Thursday, May 3, at 10 a.m. in the St. Francis Borgia Catholic Church. Father Daniel Galas will officiate with Campbell Funeral Home in charge of arrangements and burial in the Holy Cross Cemetery at Blair.

Mr. Jordan died on April 30 at the Crowell Home in Blair. He was born in Van, Texas on October 24, 1903. He was married to Eileen Thompson on December 24, 1941 in Blair. They had resided in Blair at the Parkview Manor before Mr. Jordan moved to the Crowell Home.

Mr. Jordan attended school in Van, Texas and worked for the Southern Pacific Railroad and later worked in the Construction business as a river foreman. In the latter years he was with the A.S.C.S. Office in Blair.

He is survived by his wife Eileen, of Blair; Gordan Jordan of Grand Salin, Texas; and a sister Mrs. Maree Adams of Grand Salin, Texas. He was preceded in death by seven brothers and sisters.
