George Luse Dies in Omaha

George W. Luse, a former resident of this county died in Omaha last Friday of a heart attack. George was for years a resident of the Sutherland School District and many of the older people will remember him.

He was born in Pennsylvania in 1864 and came to Blair in 1890. Three years later he was married to Miss Dora Raver and they immediately took up farming.

Four children were born to them. Two of these are still living. Mrs. John Petersen of the Rose Hill vicinity and George Jr., of Omaha.

The wife passed away in 1927 and since then George was spent most of his time in Omaha. Besides his immediate family he leaves two sisters residing in Oklahoma.

Funeral services were held at the Bendorf Funeral Home on Sunday afternoon 2:30 in the afternoon and interment was made in the Blair Cemetery.
