Blanche (Cordes) Milek passed away peacefully on Sunday morning, May 25, 2014 following a 14 year struggle with Alzheimer's disease. She will be remembered as a loving wife and mother who always put the needs of her family first. She and her husband Bob Milek had been married for 70 years prior to his passing earlier this spring. She will be greatly missed by all who loved her and admired her courage and unwavering devotion to her family. Blanche was preceded in death by her parents Burt Cordes and Mary Eaton and her husband Robert Milek. She is survived by 3 children William Milek of Denver, Marilyn Ehni of Windsor, CO, and Jane Milnikel of Omaha and their spouses, 7 Grandchildren and 9 Great-grandchildren.

Visitation Wednesday, May 28, 2014 from 6-8 pm at Roeder Mortuary, 108th and Maple, Omaha, Nebraska. Graveside service Thursday, May 29, 2014 at 10am at Westlawn Hillcrest Cemetery in Omaha, Nebraska. There will be a Celebration of Life held at 16330 Elm Street in Omaha following the Graveside Service.
