Brett A. Holmstedt, age 41 of Bellevue, passed away Feb. 19, 2019. Memorial services will be held at 2:30 p.m., Sunday, Feb. 24, 2019, at Campbell Aman Funeral Home in Blair. Visitation will be held one hour prior to services, beginning at 1 p.m.

Brett was born on March 12, 1977, in Omaha, the son of Michael and Vicky Holmstedt. He was raised in Omaha and then later Blair, where he graduated high school in 1995. After high school, Brett began working for Kiewit Construction and then later at Abe’s. On any given summer day, you could find him at the Blair swimming pool. Brett loved being outdoors, especially to camp and fish. Brett will always be remembered as a loving person who enjoyed caring for others and for his great sense of humor. Brett adored his family, especially his children.

Brett is survived by his significant other, Brandi Briggs; children, Melissa, Ethan, Evan, Ella, Caleb and Rocco; parents, Mike and Vicky Holmstedt; brother, Chris Holmstedt; niece, Echo; nephews, Kendell and Demetri; along with many extended family members. He was preceded in death by his grandparents.
