Mrs. Mary Cook received a telegram from Mrs. Grace Dale last Thursday telling her of the sudden death of Uncle Nate Foster while bathing at Radium Springs that afternoon. The funeral was held Saturday and interment made in Englewood Cemetery where Mr. Crowell is buried. Mr. Foster was a brother of Mrs. C. C. Crowell and was connected with the Crowell Lumber & Grain Co. here for a good many years. He also ran an elevator at Arlington for a time. He retired from active business a number of years ago and has made his home in Los Angeles most of the time since. He spent last summer on Cape Cod with Mr. and Mrs. A. P. Howes and Mr. and Mrs. Thos. Finnell and stopped here on his way to California for a short visit with old friends. He was born at West Brewster, Mass., and was about 70 years of age.
