Elizabeth Cachelin Buried Tuesday

Miss Elizabeth Cachelin was born at DeSoto, Nebraska, September 23, 1875, of pioneer parents, and departed this life February 6, 1943, at the home of her sister, Mrs. Ada Dalbey, 2224 Grand Avenue, Omaha, Nebraska.

The patient life she lived is a eulogy in itself. All who knew her admired her for her depth of character, her glad self-sacrifices, kindness, and unfailing loyalty.

She was a patient sufferer since girlhood and carried on against odds that would have conquered many stronger men and women.

Her life was a constant inspiration to her family and friends and appreciation of this, frankly expressed was a great boon to her, helping her to sustain the heavy load which a too frail body imposed on her.

She leaves to mourn her passing four sisters and one brother, Mrs. J. E. Miller of Chicago, Mrs. J. F. Badgerow, Mrs. Ada Dalbey, Mrs. Daisy Bowles of Omaha and Edward Cachelin of Fort Calhoun.

Funeral services were held, Tuesday, at the Presbyterian Church in Fort Calhoun of which she was a faithful member.
