Jones, Ronald P. Apr 15, 1934 - Apr 23, 2015 Age 81 of Doniphan, NE, died at CHI Health St. Francis in Grand Island. Ron was born in Logan, IA. He was the son of Ingvert L. and Katherine A. (Deemer) Jones. Survivors of the immediate family include his wife, Sandy Jones, Doniphan, NE; son and 2 daughters-in-law, Tom and Seane Jones, Edmond, OK, Janiece Jones, Grand Island, NE; 2 daughters and sons-in-law, Tami and Tom Coyle, Castle Rock, CO, Teresa and Rick Kuproski, Phoenix, AZ; grandchildren and spouses, Sidney Jones, Dan Coyle, Matt Coyle, Jennifer and Andrew Cerio, Jaci and Sam Puente, Michael Jones; great grandchildren, Bella and Ryder Cerio, Boston Puente; brother and 4 sisters-in-law, Leo and Donna Jones, Portland, OR, Juanita Jones, Papillion, NE, Phyllis Jones, Vancouver, WA, Joanne Jones, Des Moines, IA; sister and brother-in-law, Bette and Bob Mercier, Omaha, NE. He is preceded in death by his parents; his first wife, Eleanor; sons, Randy and Pat; brothers, James, Jerry, Eugene, Bill, Thomas and Robert; sisters, Margaret Chaney, Katherine Caron and Phyllis Williams.

To honor Ron's wishes, cremation has occurred. MASS of CHRISTIAN BURIAL will be celebrated Tuesday, April 28, 2015, 10:30am, St. Ann's Catholic Church, Doniphan with The Rev. Joseph Faulkner as the Celebrant. Inurnment in Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Grand Island, with a 1:30pm Committal Service. VISITATION Monday, April 27, 2015, 5–7pm, Curran Funeral Chapel, in Grand Island, with a 7pm Scripture Rosary Service. Memorials are suggested to Grand Island Central Catholic Foundation.
