Missouri Valley, IA. Passed away Monday, March 3, 2014 at Community Memorial Hospital in Missouri Valley, IA. Survivors include his wife of 56 years, Barbara Kirlin of Missouri Valley; children: William Kirlin and wife Susan of Modale, IA; Lisa Kirlin of Blair, NE; Robert Kirlin and wife Angie of Missouri Valley; Michael Kirlin and wife Ann of Modale; Scott Kirlin and wife Kristin of Honey Creek, IA; sister: Reta Strabala of Ames, IA; fifteen grandchildren and seven great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews and friends. Dennis was preceded in death by his parents, William and Rena Kirlin, sister, Patricia Zahner.

WAKE SERVICE will be held Wednesday at 6pm at Hennessey Funeral Home in Missouri Valley, IA with VISITATION to follow until 8pm. MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL 10:30am Thursday, March 6, 2014, St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Missouri Valley, IA. Final Resting Place, at a later date, Magnolia Catholic Cemetery, Magnolia, IA.
