Vernon was preceded in death by his parents; infant son, Timothy; and brother, Terry. He is survived by his loving wife, Sonja; children, Floyd (Julie) Brunning, Tonja (Gregg) Johnsen, Bridget (Trent) Ragsdell, Mark Brunning, Tom (Michelle) Kloster, Tammy (Jason) Stawniak, and Theresa Lindgren (Pat Ratigan); 15 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; sisters, Ellen (Bill) Bohlken, Kathy (Ken) Palm, and Darlene Yovonie; brothers, Darwin (Natalie), and Vaugn (Carolyn); and many nieces and nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, and friends. He will be missed by all.
